Influenced by RZA, El-P & DJ Screw, INSMNC is a hip hop producer & remixer from South Jersey. After growing up playing the trombone in school, INSMNC graduated to making beats and joined Camden's Creative Life Records in the early 2000s. He then played trombone and programmed drums in the psychedelic bands Meddling Kids and The Mutations. In recent years, INSMNC has focused on collaborating with like-minded underground MCs, developing a dense, heavy sound that takes as much from Pink Floyd and The Velvet Underground as it does from classic boom bap.
